Fee-paying categories are charged between ₹175 and ₹850, depending on category. Payment is accepted via debit card, credit card, net banking, and offline bank challan. Pay only through the official portal linked on this page; the fee is normally non-refundable once the form is submitted.

Document verification is where otherwise-successful candidates most often fall out, usually over a missing category certificate or a name mismatch across documents. Assemble originals plus self-attested photocopies well before the date, and get any discrepancy in spelling or date of birth corrected in advance — it cannot be resolved on the day.
