Applications open on 29 March 2025 and close on 16 April 2025, giving candidates 19 days to complete the process. At 19 days this is a normal-length window, but the fee and upload steps are the ones that fail late, so leave a few days of margin. The exam is currently shown for 22-24 May 2025; treat this as provisional until the admit card confirms it.

On qualifications, the notification states: 10+2 Intermediate Exam with Mathematics, Physics with One of the Following Subject Chemistry / Biology / Computer Science. If your degree is an equivalent under a different name, look for the equivalence clause in the official PDF before paying the fee — a form rejected for a qualification mismatch is not usually refundable.

All fee-paying categories are charged the same ₹550. Payment is accepted via debit card, credit card, and net banking. Pay only through the official portal linked on this page; the fee is normally non-refundable once the form is submitted.

This recruitment carries physical standards (height 157 Cms for Male & 152 cms for Female). Physical tests are usually qualifying rather than scored, but they are eliminative — candidates who clear the written stage and then fail PET/PST are removed from the process entirely. Measure yourself against these figures before you invest preparation time, and check whether relaxed standards apply to your category or region in the official notification.

Check the admit card for the three things candidates most often get wrong: the reporting time (typically well before the exam time), the exact centre address, and the list of permitted items. Carry a printed copy plus the photo ID named on the card — a digital copy on a phone is not accepted at most centres.
